ABOUT

Amy Bass is a Manchester-born architectural designer, illustrator & content creator currently based between New York and London. She is a Fulbright Scholar pursuing a Master’s in Architecture at Parsons School of Design, The New School, in New York City.

She previously worked at the world-renowned architecture firm Foster + Partners, and graduated with First-class Honours in Architecture (BSc) from The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, in 2023.

Her architectural interests are closely intertwined with her passion for travel and cultural exploration, with a particular focus on housing typologies across different global contexts.

Amy shares her work and research online through engaging, accessible content that blends her authentic personality, humour, and storytelling. She has built a large social media following for her creative approach to architecture, urbanism, and travel education, inspiring a wide audience of design enthusiasts and curious minds alike.

Using a combination of biro hand-drawings, digital illustration, and photography, she captures the humor, intimacy, and social complexity of daily life and its relationship to the built environment.
